Studio/Office Share

How do I access the office share?

You must complete a usage application and provide insurance to us (either your own or purchased through us). We will then review your application and insurance to ensure it meets our requirements. We ask that you submit both in advance if possible. Once your use is approved, you can arrive at the campus for your booking.

We are open 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Our summer hours take effect after Victoria Day and switch to 8am-4pm until Labour Day. We are closed for all statutory holidays and are closed on weekends. We will typically post closure announcements on our social media.

The application helps us track the use of the Studio and have a record of those using the space, ensures you agree to our policies, and ensures we have space available on the day you are requesting.

The College requires all renters, tenants, contractors etc. to have insurance while on campus. Insurance is required as it provides both individuals and businesses with protection for burdens that may arise from unexpected events. All insurance requirements are listed under the policies on the application.

Am I able to purchase insurance?

Yes, the College insurer offers insurance for guests using the campus. You can get a quote or purchase insurance here.

Our space is open concept and does not have a private space for online or in-person meetings. There are other rooms available on campus for a fee. Please inquire directly with the campus for more information: Parry.Sound@canadorecollege.ca or 705-746-9222.

    • If there is an app that you require that we do not have added to the iPad, please let us know and we will look into adding it. You will not be able to download new apps.

Vendor

How do I become a vendor?

Please complete our Collaborator request form on our site here.

We currently do not have an option for Collaborators to edit their own listings. Please contact us at venture.bay@canadorecollege.ca to request any edits.

Anyone can send in a request to add a listing. The form will be reviewed, and we will determine if the service meets the current needs of the users.

I do not have a website. Am I still able to create a listing?

You can link to any social media pages instead if that is your main online presence.

You will receive confirmation that we received your submission within 3 business days. If further details are needed, we will contact you. Most listings will be approved or denied within one week.
